This course that has been developed specifically for Family Day Care Providers and is for refresher purposes only. The training is an overview of key messages and elements from the full 7hour package. Individuals must have completed the full 7hr Child Safe Environments package prior to enrollment in this refresher course.

Often the director works in isolation when it comes to quality assurance. Quality provision of services to children and families and meeting QA requirements is more effective when all staff take responsibility. Staff need to be engaged in every step of the way. This is not always an easy task and finding the right strategy for your services can be difficult. This interactive online package explores a range of strategies for directors/leaders to consider and seeks to provoke reflection on the role of the leader in managing the QA process and in particular the critical aspect of engaging staff.

This DECS approved Child Protection Update course is designed specifically for Family Day Care Providers, Fieldworkers and child care staff who have previously completed a full day Child Protection or Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training Course. You can complete it online and in your own time.
