All education and care services in South Australia will need
to complete a Quality Improvement Plan by 30 April 2012.

This online package takes you through the purpose of a
Quality Improvement Plan and how to create one that
is useful, that identifies your strengths and that is a key
element of your continuous improvement measures.

This session takes you through each aspect of the QIP,
how to undertake self assessment to inform what you
include in the QIP and links to examples and resources to
support your transition to the National quality Framework.

This online training package covers all topics previously included in the 7 hour workshops - the basic knowledge of OH&S necessary for children’s services. The information will assist participants to develop an understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and the skills to contribute to its implementation in children’s services. Please note: An optional assessment is available for the following competency from Diploma in Children Services - ‘Participate in Workplace Safety Procedures and Manage Workplace OHS Management System’. This training has been developed in partnership with DECS and is now available online to assist family day care providers to develop an effective business planning model that will improve operations and provide better financial outcomes.
