Integrated Preschool and Long Day Care Programs
The integrated preschool and long day care programs provide exciting and challenging learning environments for children aged 3 to 5 years and allow flexibility for families.
The focus in these programs includes the development of a positive self concept within an environment where children learn to care for each other and their surroundings. There is a rich arts program, and a strong focus on learning through play. The curriculum is relationship-based and reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
The practice of primary caregiving continues in our kindy rooms with a focus on children developing a sense of security within the environment so each child can confidently access learning experiences. The value of children learning by doing, through their interests, contributes to a skillfully guided program run by qualified preschool teachers and educators.
Our Gowrie SA Thebarton campus is able to provide various combinations of long day care and Department of Education and Children's Services (DECS) subsidised Kindergarten/Preschool sessions. Our Underdale campus will be offering preschool sessions from the beginning of the 2012 school year.
A sense of community and family networks are developed through a number of family events and opportunities to discuss ongoing goals for your child throughout the year.
