Children's Programs - Overview

The Thebarton campus is located at 39a Dew Street in Thebarton. The heritage building is set in a large and beautiful native garden setting surrounded by lots of natural shade with plenty of room for children to play both indoors and out. Integrated child care and preschool services are available.

The Underdale campus is located at 10 Arthur Lemon Drive in Underdale. It provides child care services in a modern building set in large garden spaces.

Both our sites have qualified, professional staff leading the programs which have an emphasis on children's rights, play-based learning and relationships.

Our dedicated staff pursue lifelong learning opportunities to continually upgrade their skills and knowledge.  Staff are also involved in action research and other projects and are active in advocating for high quality education and care for children from birth to school age. 

The organisation has a Collective Agreement which provides incentives to assist with staff retention.  All rooms have high (above minimum standard) staff:child ratios and all staff positions are advertised as qualified positions in the first instance.  Unqualified staff are encouraged and supported to study toward an early childhood qualification.
